Franck stopped taking melatonin
and began sleeping naturally from one day to the next with Reveri.
Franck had been taking melatonin to aid his sleep. He is a regular listener of The Huberman Lab podcast with Dr. Andrew Huberman, who has cited research about the potential risks of taking melatonin, as it interrupts natural cycles and may inhibit testosterone production. Dr. Huberman also referenced Reveri as a tool to help people with all kinds of common challenges, including sleep-related ones, so Franck said, “Why not give it a try?”
He had no prior experience with hypnosis.
“When you wake up at night you can be preoccupied by the day before, or the next day. With Reveri, when you wake up at night, you get right back to sleep. So it is very efficient.”
Franck has been working on building a healthy lifestyle for years. He has been running for four years, and he’s noticed a positive effect on his healthy habits thanks to the improved sleep with Reveri:
“I wake up at 5:45 - 6:00am, and I run. Sometimes when I woke up fatigued due to poor sleep I would skip them. But now that I’m sleeping well regularly, I don’t skip my runs anymore.”
When Franck wakes up in the middle of the night, he uses Reveri’s Improve Sleep and Get Back to Sleep sessions (hypnosis exercises). He says he falls back to sleep without a problem, even if he has to wake up in another 45 minutes. He isn’t preoccupied with the day ahead.
What advice would you give someone who wants to sleep naturally, and fall back to sleep easily if they wake up in the night?
“It’s very efficient to use this app to improve your sleep. If you do it properly, it’s very easy. Just follow what Dr. Spiegel is saying in the exercises. Maybe some people aren’t sure about going to bed with an app. I think it helps if you are informed about what’s going on with hypnosis — the research behind it. People here in France don’t understand when you talk about hypnosis, and I didn’t know anything about it before learning about Reveri. But Dr. Spiegel’s explanations of what is going on and how hypnosis works is very helpful.”
Franck has three children, and he advises them to use Reveri. If he was 20 again, he would be very happy to have an app like Reveri, because for a long time he tried different things and managed his sleep poorly. “Having Reveri has simplified things,” he says. “It’s very well explained with Dr. Spiegel.”
“Separating your body-feelings from your mind-feelings is the key. When you hear ‘hypnosis,’ people don’t explain anything to you, so you don’t understand how it may work. But Dr. Spiegel is very strong in the way he explains how to separate your body from your mind.”
Franck is a real Reveri member.
