Amanda quit a 17-year smoking habit
after two Reveri sessions.
But she couldn’t kick her smoking habit, even though she really wanted to.
“I have been smoking since I was 17, about 15 cigs a day. I’m 35 now. I’ve done many hypnoses over the years and just tried Reveri’s app 3 days ago and I haven’t had a cigarette since. THANK YOU SO MUCH!” — Amanda wrote to us.
A couple months later, Amanda is still cigarette-free.
What was different about Reveri?
“I had tried 5 or 6 different YouTube scripts and other hypnosis apps to quit smoking, but none of them worked before Reveri. I believe this is because those approaches and scripts were overly focused on cigarettes.”

Amanda also mentioned she loves Dr. Spiegel’s voice, and she appreciates the language in his sessions isn’t too advanced, as she’s not a native English speaker. “His voice is comforting and soothing. I’m really picky with voices!”
By contrast, Amanda’s partner quit smoking using nothing but will power. “So he’s craving cigarettes all the time, but for me it’s almost like I haven’t smoked before! I don’t crave them.”
“I smelled a cigarette today when I was catching a flight and I thought - ‘oh no, that smells bad.’”
Amanda’s story is supported by science. Research has shown hypnosis to be up to 3X more effective than common medication-based approaches, like nicotine replacement therapy (NRT). Plus, it’s symptom-free, whereas NRT comes with physical and mental side effects.
Her migraines also evaporated after the last cigarette she smoked.
“I used to experience migraines,” she told us. “I haven’t had one migraine since I quit smoking, now more than nine weeks ago. The cigarette smoking must have been the cause!”
If you could give advice to someone else who wants to quit any habit, what would you tell them?
“Reveri is such an easy ticket to get free - free from that habit. It took 9 minutes of my life, please do yourself the honor and at least try. I never thought I'd really be able to get rid of my habit. Now knowing I could and also not struggle after quitting is such a beautiful feeling. I believe in you!”
